Centering YOU + The Georgia Perinatal Fund

A postpartum support project helping mothers carry care beyond the therapy room and into the real moments of daily life.

Therapy is powerful, but so much of postpartum life happens between appointments: the feeding at 3 a.m., the bathroom cry, the hard conversation with a partner, the moment in the car before therapy, the day a mother realizes she has not felt like herself in months.

Centering YOU was created for those moments. Through this project, we are learning how a tangible, evidence-based card deck can support mothers, providers, and the larger maternal mental health system in Georgia.

For Mothers

Request your deck, learn how to use it, and share your experience if you choose.

For Providers

Where Support Lives

Support does not only live in a therapy office. Sometimes it lives on a nightstand during a midnight feeding, on the bathroom mirror before the day begins, in a therapy notebook, beside a coffee cup, in a diaper bag, or on the kitchen counter where someone else can finally see what she needs.

Where Support Lives is growing collection of how Centering YOU is being used by real families in real postpartum life.

Our goal is to share this collection publicly in 2027. Help us grow this space with your experience.

You can share a photo, a short voice note, or a written reflection. Your story does not need to be polished. A single moment can teach us something important.

Share a moment with us

These forms let mothers and providers contribute to the same campaign—but in audience-specific ways. Use any or all of the below forms to share your experience in a way that feels easy to you.

Consider these prompts:

  1. The card that found me was…

  2. I placed this card where…

  3. This card helped me notice…

  4. This card helped me ask for…

  5. One thing I want another postpartum mother to know is…

Leave a Voice Note

Open the Voice Memos or recording app on your phone and record a short reflection. Save the recording, then upload the audio file here. A minute or two is plenty.

Share in the way that feels easiest.
Take a photo, record a voice memo on your phone and upload it here, or write a few sentences below. Choose one or share more than one—there is no need to make it polished.

Upload a Photo
Show us where your card lives. Take a photo of your card wherever it has found a place, in your home, your bag, your car, or somewhere else—and upload it here.

Write a Reflection
Write a few sentences about a card that stayed with you, helped you notice something, or helped you ask for support.

Provider Field Notes

Send us a Message

Providers are invited to share where the deck lived in the clinical process: opening a session, closing a session, supporting between-session care, helping a mother name a need, inviting partner communication, or helping identify when more support was needed.

Prefer a Quick Survey?

Getting direct input from our community in any form is valuable to this campaign. We want to improve and grow with our Centering YOU community. If you prefer a questionnaire over uploading a message or image, please engage below.

Mother survey

Your feedback helps us understand how Centering YOU supports mothers in real life, what felt helpful, what was hard to use, and what could make this tool stronger?

A note about privacy and choice

Feedback is optional.
You can receive and use the deck without sharing a story, photo, voice memo, or survey.
Your therapy and care are not affected by whether you participate in feedback.
If you upload a photo, please avoid faces, children, medical documents, therapy notes, addresses, or other identifying details unless you intentionally choose to share them.

Usage Permission Statement: You will be able to choose how your reflection may be used: internal learning only, anonymous public sharing, first-name sharing, contact before public use, or open to follow-up.

Stay Connected
