Find Your Capacity: A Wellness-First Approach to Sustainable Business Growth Workshop
co-facilitated by Elizabeth O’Brien and marketing strategist Ellen Peacock.
Thursday June 26th 8:30am-10am The LOLA, ATL
Growth doesn’t have to mean more hustle. It starts with clarity.
This restorative, strategy-forward workshop offers women business owners a new way to think about growth—one that honors your energy, your vision, and your real-world capacity.
We’ll begin by reconnecting you to the essentials: What actually drives growth in your business—not just in theory, but in practice?
Then, using Ellen’s Capacity Matrix, we’ll guide you through a mini marketing audit to uncover where your efforts are aligned, overextended, or underutilized. It’s a clear, compassionate way to surface hidden gaps and growth opportunities.
From there, you’ll learn how to develop a strategy that fits your reality—and how to stretch your best content further, so you’re not constantly starting from scratch.
This is marketing clarity, grounded in wellness.

Guests were welcomed with a handcrafted herbal tea mocktail prepared by local wellness coach, yogi, and doula Cherished Life Wellness. The evening unfolded with a reflective practice using the Centering You Deck, inviting personal insight and thoughtful conversation in a quiet, supportive setting.
A connection and sharing circle offered space to be witnessed and to listen—an opportunity to speak from the heart and hold space for others. Exclusive Centering You deck bundles were available, allowing guests to carry the evening’s intention forward.
The gathering closed with a grounding meditation, offering a moment of deep rest and integration before returning to the wider world.
This event was a reminder of the clarity and strength that emerge when we choose to pause, reflect, and gather in community.

This workshop was created for entrepreneurs and businesswomen who were feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, or on the edge of burnout. Through a feminist lens, we explored how to shift our perspective and place well-being at the center of our work.
At this event, we journaled, connected with other women, and took time to reflect on the personal cost of constant productivity. We shared stories, challenges, and insights in a space designed for honesty and care. The session closed with a guided meditation, grounding the experience and offering participants a moment of stillness before returning to their day-to-day lives.
Facilitators shared real-world strategies for creating a sustainable business without sacrificing health or integrity. The gathering served as both a pause and a reminder: it’s possible to lead, grow, and succeed without burning out.

This event marked the launch of The Shift Shop’s community gathering series, bringing together women and allies to explore bold new visions for work rooted in equity, belonging, and sustainability.
Guests enjoyed curated cocktails and mocktails while experiencing live art and engaging conversation. The evening featured a dynamic panel of speakers who shared how they had redesigned their workspaces and redefined their relationships with work using innovative and sustainable practices. Their stories offered powerful examples of what becomes possible when we let go of outdated models and center well-being, creativity, and inclusion.
The Shift Shop led the community through guided visualizations and invited attendees to co-create a collaborative art installation—transforming reflection into expression. Together, we began to embody a high-vibration, sustainable business framework that supports teams in “un-learning” extractive systems and imagining new ways of working that honor both personal and professional identities.
Each ticket included two drinks from the bar, with half of all proceeds benefiting the Georgia Fund for Perinatal Mental Health—a grassroots effort providing fully funded therapy sessions for perinatal mothers and families across the state. Rooted in mutual aid, the fund addresses urgent gaps in Georgia’s maternal and mental health care systems, where access remains among the lowest in the country.
The evening was both a celebration and a call to action—a reminder that when we gather with purpose, we can reimagine the future of work and build communities of care, creativity, and collective power.
